To upload a file into SharePoint, use the SharePoint Upload File steptype to empower your team with the capability to upload documents directly from within Sidekick, without the need to leave the support ticket or case.
Title
The title appears up top in Sidekick when your team reaches this step in the flow. We recommend using it to instruct your team to upload a file into Sharepoint.
Site ID (required)
Enter your Sharepoint instance's site ID in this field. If you don't know your Site ID, contact your Sharepoint administrator.
Drive ID (required)
Similar to Site ID, use this field to enter the Drive ID of your Sharepoint instance. If you don't know your Drive ID, contact your Sharepoint administrator.
Folder Path
Use this field to enter the folder path for uploads.
You can click the ➕ button to choose variables that will generate the folder path. This is useful if you have details in another FlowEQ-connected system, like your CRM, containing a customer's name or company, and you want to put uploaded files into a folder with the same customer name or company. If the given folder name doesn't exist, it will be created automatically.
Hide in Sidekick
Check this box if you want to specify the folder path in Flow Builder and prevent your team from editing the path in Sidekick. Leave it unchecked if you want your team to be able to edit the folder path.
File name (with extension)
Use this field to specify the filename and extension of the uploaded file in the Sharepoint folder.
Similar to the Folder path field above, you can again use the ➕ button to choose variables that will generate the filename. This is useful if you have data in a FlowEQ-integrated system which can be used to autogenerate a consistent filename, such as a customer's name or company.
Hide in Sidekick
Check this box if you want to prevent your team from editing the filename in Sidekick. Leave it unchecked if you want your team to be able to edit the filename manually.
