# Kustomer: Add Note

> How to use FlowEQ to add an internal note to a conversation in Kustomer

Internal notes are great for ticket summaries, decisions made, and next steps to take. To make them even more streamlined for great handoffs within your teams, use the **Kustomer Add Note** steptype.

## Step Configuration

In addition to the general step configuration options, this step has the following specific options that can be configured.

### Message Content

Enter the contents of your internal note here. You can write anything you want here and use FlowEQ variables with the <Icon icon="plus" /> button to pull in details from other FlowEQ-connected systems.

### Hide Field in Sidekick?

Check this box to prevent your team from seeing or editing the subject line in Sidekick.
