# Configure Recurly

> How to setup the Recurly integration

Recurly is an all-in-one subscription management and billing platform that removes the complexities of recurring billing and invoicing for businesses. To use Recurly steptypes in your Flows, you'll first need to follow these steps to set up the Recurly integration.

1. If you haven't already, [click here to create a new Recurly account](https://app.recurly.com/signup).
2. Take note of the subdomain you used to set up your Recurly account. You will need it later.
   * For example, in Recurly, your browser's address bar will look something like this: `https://mycompanyname.recurly.com/guides/progress`
   * In this case, your Recurly subdomain would be `mycompanyname`
3. In the left rail of Recurly, click **Integrations** , then **API Credentials**.\\

4. Click the **Add Private API Key** button
5. Enter these values into their fields, then click the**Save Changes** button.\

   \| :--   | :---- |
   \| Key Name | FlowEQ |
   \| (Optional) Notes | This API key is for the Recurly integration with FlowEQ |
   \| Application Using This Key | Other.. |
   \| Application Name | FlowEQ |

6. **Unhide and copy** the new private API key you just created.
7. [Click here to open the Recurly page](https://app.floweq.com/integrations/recurly) in the Integrations Lab in FlowEQ.
8. Enter these values into their respective fields, then click the **Save** button.
9. Your Recurly integration should show **Connected** status\*\*.\*\* Setup is complete and you can now use all Recurly steptypes to build your Flows.
