How to use message templates in Freshchat

Chat is great for striking a great conversational tone with your customers, but sometimes your team needs to be more exact with their phrasing or provide a bunch of details all at once. You can use Freshchat: Send Message to Conversation to do both for your team automatically, with your own custom templates.

Title

The title will appear up top in Sidekick when your team reaches this step in the flow. You can call it whatever you want. We recommend using it to describe the purpose of the template.

Automatically run when step launch?

Check this box to send the template immediately when your team reaches this step in the flow. 

Message Template

Write your own custom template here. You can also use the ➕ button to pull in data from Freshchat and other systems you have connected to FlowEQ. The details you select will be rendered automatically when the template is sent.
