How to update the status of a conversation in Freshchat

Beyond using message templates in conversations, you can also use the Freshchat: Update Conversation steptype to automatically update the status of the conversation too.

Title

The title appears up top in Sidekick when your team reaches this step in the flow. We recommend explaining the new status of the conversation.

Automatically run when step launched?

Check this box to update the conversation to the selected status automatically when your team reaches this step in the flow.

Select the new status for the conversation. By default, the options are New, Reopened, and Resolved.
