Creating orders used to be a hassle, with lots of tab-switching and copy-pasting. But not anymore. The Shopify Create Order steptype helps your team create new orders in just a few clicks without leaving the CRM ticket or case.
Customize the steptype to suit your needs. Keep things flexible by unchecking the auto-run boxes and presenting all the options to your team. Or, keep things efficient by using the Shopify Create Order step type alongside Decision Tree step types to set up the entire order automatically.

Auto Run Options
Send customer invoice (leave unchecked to Mark as Paid)
Check this box if you want to generate and send an invoice for your customer to pay before their order is shipped. If left unchecked, the created order will be marked as paid and the order will go out immediately.
Automatically complete draft order
Check this box to automatically complete the order after the invoice has been sent or the draft order has been marked as paid.
Automatically create draft order
Check this box if you want to create the order as configured here in Flow Builder without giving your team the chance to make changes to that order.
Product Options
Add Selectable Product Variants
Use this table to choose the products that will be added to the order.

Use this field to select the order in which the product variants will appear both in Sidekick and in the Shopify order too. - Product Variant
Use this field to select a product variant from your Shopify store - Display Label
Use this field to set a shorthand name for the product variant. This is handy if your product variants have long or complex names in Shopify. - Default Quantity
Use this field to set the default quantity of each product variant in the order. If this steptype is not set to run automatically, your team can change this quantity before the order is created.
Shipping Options
Add selectable shipping rates
Use this table to set shipping options for the order. Your team will be asked to select from one of the options you set here unless the steptype is set to run automatically without input from your team.

Use this field to arrange shipping options in Sidekick. We recommend cheaper options on top and costly options below. - Shipping Option
Use this field to give your team shipping options to choose from. Each shipping option will appear exactly as they are titled in your Shopify store.
Discount Options
Enable Order Discount
To enable discounts on an order, check this box. Once checked, you will be able to choose from the following options.
Discount Type
Determines the type of discount on the order
- Percentage
Select this if you want to offer a percentage discount — for example, 10% off the entire order. - Fixed
Select this if you want to offer a set price discount — for example, $20 off the entire order. - Hidden Checkbox
Leave this box unchecked if you want the team to use the flow to choose between percentage or fixed discounts. If you want to decide for your team instead, check this box.
Discount Value
Enter the discount amount as a number.
- Discount Percentage
If you're offering a percentage discount, enter the percentage amount. For example, entering "10" will offer a 10% discount. - Discount Amount
If you're offering a fixed discount, enter the dollar amount. For example, entering "20" will offer a $20 discount. - Hidden Checkbox
To lock the discount value you set in Flow Builder and prevent your team from changing it in Sidekick, check this box.
Discount Reason
Use this field to provide a reason or justification for the discount, which will then be visible on the order in Shopify.

Check this box to prevent this field from appearing to your team in Sidekick - Required Checkbox
Check this box to require that a reason be provided before an order with a discount can be created.
