Google Sheets can be the perfect catch-all. Quick and easy to set up, they often become repositories of valuable, mission-critical information. When your team needs to add important details to your Google Sheet, use the Google Sheets Add New Row steptype to post data right there from Sidekick.
Title
The title appears up top in Sidekick when your team reaches this step in the flow. We recommend using it to describe to your team what data is being written and to which Google Sheet.
Specify Data Range - Run Automatically?
Check this box to fix on a particular range in a Google Sheet in Sidekick automatically, without allowing your team to enter the ID of a different Google Sheet. You'll very likely want to check this box.
Spreadsheet ID
Enter the Spreadsheet ID for the Google Sheet where you want to add a new row.
The Spreadsheet ID is the long alphanumeric segment in the middle of your Google Sheets' URL.
For example, when viewing your Google Sheet in your browser, the address bar will contain a URL that looks something like this.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13Mme1sGkOvfusiliIdU72CXWcdbR6eu0hufsmhNBaO7Ww/edit#gid=0
The Spreadsheet ID is the part found between...
spreadsheets/d/
and...
/edit#
making this spreadsheet's ID...

Click this button after filling the Spreadsheet ID and Range ID fields to pull in the Google Sheet column headers into the next part of this steptype.
Sheet Columns
The Google Sheets Add New Row steptype will render your column headers here.
Default Value fields
Leave these fields blank for your team to fill in Sidekick, or hard code a value into them here in Flow Builder, or use the ➕ variables button to pull in data from your CRM or any other system you've connected with FlowEQ, or a combination of the three.
