If your team needs to refund a particular invoice for a customer, use the Recurly Refund Invoice to give them that ability in Sidekick, removing the need to go into Recurly directly.
Title
The title appears up top in Sidekick when your team reaches this step in the flow. We recommend using it to inform your team that this steptype will handle the refunding of an invoice.
Search Customers - Run Automatically?
Check this box to immediately look up the customer in Recurly using their email address. If checked, you'll need to set the next field to pull in the email address from your CRM automatically.
Email Address
Use this field to specify the email address used to look up the customer in Recurly. You can pull in the email address automatically by selecting the field in your CRM that holds the customer's email address with the ➕ variable button.
When a customer is found in Recurly, any invoices associated with them will be presented for your team to select from in Sidekick.
Hide Field in Sidekick?
Check this box to prevent your team from seeing or changing the email address used to look up the customer in Recurly.
Search Invoices - Run Automatically
Check this box to immediately pull up a customer's invoices after the customer has been found in Recurly using their email address.
When a customer's invoices has been found, they'll be listed in Sidekick where your team can select an invoice to refund.
Refund Invoice - Run Automatically
Check this box to immediately refund the first invoice found in Recurly to the specified customer.
