When a customer needs to end their subscription, use the Recurly Terminate Subscription steptype to give your team that ability in Sidekick without them leaving the support ticket or case.
Title
The title appears up top in Sidekick when your team reaches this step in the flow. We recommend using it to explain that this step will terminate the customer's subscription when followed.
Search Customers - Run Automatically?
Check this box to immediately begin searching for the customer in Recurly using a given email address. If checked, you'll have to configure the next field on this steptype to pull in the customer's email address automatically.
Email Address
Use this field to specify the email address to search in Recurly to find your customer. Use the ➕ button to populate this field with information from your CRM automatically.
Hide Field in Sidekick?
Check this box if you don't want your team to see or change the email address before the search is performed.
Search Subscriptions - Run Automatically?
Check this box to immediately start searching for a customer's subscriptions, after the customer has been found by their email address.
Terminate Subscriptions - Run Automatically?
Check this box to immediately terminate the first subscription found after the search for the customer's subscriptions is complete. The default refund type selected in this steptype will be used for all automatic subscription terminations.
Refund Type
When your team is ready to terminate the subscription, they will be given the choice of which type of refund the customer should receive: Full, Partial, or None.
Use the Hidden? checkboxes to hide any of these refund type options you don't want to present to your team.
You can also use a Default? checkbox to select which refund type will be offered first to your team to choose from, and which type of refund will be automatically issued if the Terminate Subscriptions - Run Automatically? box is checked.
If you know which refund type is needed in all cases when your team reaches this step in your flow, check the Hide Selection Field to prevent your team from seeing or changing the Refund Type on their own in Sidekick.
Stop Collections?
Check this box to stop collections on this account from Sidekick automatically. When checked, this step type will first check if collections are still active on the account. If so, then collections are stopped before the account is terminated. You can also check the Hide Field in Sidekick checkbox if you want to decide if collections should be stopped here in Flow Builder for your agents. If the field is not hidden, agents will still be given the choice of whether to stop collections or not before the account is terminated.
