While most flows will be launched and completed by your team in Sidekick, it's also possible to run flows in the background. This can be useful for handling administrative work, such as updating ticket fields after a certain amount of time or automatically creating a follow-up ticket when conditions are met.
However, since most steptypes are designed to take input from your team, not all steptypes can be run in the background without input. If you want to create a flow to run in the background, you can only use steptypes that can run in the background.
FlowEQ is constantly making more steptypes able to be background-runnable. Below is an updated list of these steptypes.
