What You Can Do
- Post messages to any Slack channel
Quick Tips
- Pre-fill or leave open — you can pre-configure the message content and channel in Flow Builder so they’re locked in, or leave them editable so agents can customize the message at runtime in Sidekick.
- Use @mentions — enable the Link Names option in the step to support
@usernamementions in your message, which will trigger Slack notifications for the tagged person. Note that display names are case-sensitive. - Hide the channel field — if you want agents posting to a fixed channel (like an alert channel), check Hide Field in Sidekick on the channel field to prevent agents from changing the destination.
