If you use tags in your Shopify store to categorize orders, use the Shopify Update Order steptype to update them on a customer’s order. When your team reaches this step in the Flow, FlowEQ will automatically look up the customer’s order using their email address in your CRM and update the Shopify tags accordingly.

After selecting an order, the team will also be able to edit the order address on unfulfilled items.

Step Configuration

Title

The title appears up top in Sidekick when your team reaches this step in the Flow. We recommend using this field to explain what tags are being added or removed from the order and why.

Checking this box will automatically run the order search using either the ticket requester’s email address or the value in the “Default Email” box.

Default Email

By default, FlowEQ will use the ticket requester’s email address to search for the order in Shopify. If you want to use a different email address, enter it here.

Remember, you can hit the button to insert a variable to pull data from other fields or other configured integrations.

Tag Options

Use this table to specify which tag types you want to set, and what the values of those tags should be.

Order

Use this field to set the order in which the tag label and values will be presented in Sidekick.

Label

Use this field to select the tag label you wish to use from your Shopify store.

Value

Use this field to set the actual value of the order tag itself.

Running the Step

Once the step has been added to a Flow and configured to your liking, when an agent runs the Flow, they will see all orders based on the provided email address.

The agent will be able to select an order, select tags to add, and modify the shipping address. The address can only be modified if the order is unfulfilled in Shopify. The address entered will be validated to confirm that it is formatted and a valid address.

If no changes are needed, they can simply hit “Complete Step”.
