Step Configuration
In addition to the general step configuration options, this step has the following specific options that can be configured.Use Rich Text for Template
This option is enabled by default, and allows for using rich text like bolding, underlining, and bullet points in your Chatter post template. If you prefer to use plain text for your Chatter posts, you can disable this option.Allow Attachments
Enabling this option will allow your team to add attachments to the Chatter post when they run the Flow in Sidekick. If you want to ensure that no attachments are added to the Chatter post, you can disable this option. If this option is disabled, the attachments will not be visible in Sidekick and further attachments cannot be added when running the Flow. However, you can still configure attachments in the step configuration and they will be added to the Chatter post when the Flow is run.
Attach Files
Clicking on the Add File button will allow you to select files from your computer to be attached to the Chatter post. You can add as many attachments as you’d like.File Configuration
For each file you attach, you can configure the following options:- File Name: This is the name that will appear for the attachment in the Chatter post. You can use the button to pull variables from Salesforce and other systems integrated with FlowEQ to make the file name more descriptive. Be sure that the resulting variable does not have special characters, as it may cause issues when trying to attach the file in Salesforce
- URL Path: If you prefer not to upload a file, you can specify a URL path to a file instead. NOTE: The file at the URL must be publicly accessible for it to be attached to the Chatter post
- Upload: Click this button to upload a file and have it attached to the created Chatter post
Text Template
You can specify the template for a Chatter post in the Text Template box. This is where you will configure the information that appears in the body of the Chatter post. As long as Auto Complete Step is not enabled, your team will have an opportunity to edit the Chatter post in Sidekick before it is posted in Salesforce, so you can use this template to pre-populate the Chatter post with information from your CRM and other systems integrated with FlowEQ, while still allowing your team to make edits as needed before posting. Use the button to pull variables from Salesforce and other systems integrated with FlowEQ to make the Chatter post more informative and specific to the case at hand.Enter Values
This is how you can prompt your team to enter more text before it’s added to your template. A good example of this would be if your template takes care of most of what the message needs to convey, like “Here’s your order number” or “Please use this shipping label”. But with the Placeholder Values, you can ask your team to enter their own text, such as a personalized sentence, so that it doesn’t read like any old templated response to the customer.- In the Field box, type the writing prompt for your team. For example “Introduce yourself and acknowledge the customer’s issue.”
- When ready, move your cursor to where you want your team’s writing prompt to be inserted, then click the Insert Placeholder button. A new variable will appear in the Case Comment which will place your teammate’s sentence into the body of Case Comment text.
