How to give instructions using the Rich Text steptype

Sometimes all your team needs is a bit of guidance and they're good to go. This is exactly what the Rich Text: Instruction Step is for. You can provide your team with a summary about what the flow just did, what comes next, or even how to navigate and use tools outside of FlowEQ.

Rich Text

Here you can add formatted text to your heart's content. The formatting options will look familiar to most people.

Besides text you can also add other content: mathematical formulas, hyperlinks (very handy for when you need to send your team to another website or system), and images (great for example photos your team compares products/interfaces against).

As always, you can use the ➕  button to pull in variables from within your CRM or any other systems you've integrated with FlowEQ. It can be helpful to automatically load a customer's name, or account information in the instructions you've written for your team!

Reminder: When your team reads your instructions in Sidekick, their view is quite narrow - think about the same size as a smartphone's display. There's no limit to the amount of text or images you can use, but you'll want to keep your instructions short so your team won't have to scroll up and down. The shorter your instructions, the faster your team can move to the next step.
